In 2022 we celebrated the V Saint John’s Charity Ball and again collected a record amount of donations. Thank you so much! These donations were used to support both the participation of Hungarian youth with disabilities at the Order of Malta’s International Summer Camp in Rome, and the introduction of an innovative digital education program across seven Hungarian schools with disadvantaged youth.

The VI Saint John’s Charity Ball was held on 29th June 2024 in the Pesti Vigadó with the participation of 420 guests.
A total of 17 million HUF was collected during the Ball. We would like to thank all our supporters!
From the proceeds we will be able to ensure the participation of 10+10 Hungarian disabled young people in the next two international summer camps organized by the Order of Malta.
In addition, we will launch a new scholarship program for talented secondary school students studying music under the Symphony Program managed by the Hungarian Charity Service of the Order of Malta.
To encourage private donations, we will continue the St. John’s Charity Ball Supporters’ Circle. Please join and help us reach our goals! Corporate and individual donations are still welcome.

Charity Concert Organized by the Hungarian Association of the Sovereign Order of Malta
The Hungarian Association of the Sovereign Order of Malta cordially invites you and your family to the Máltai Szimfónia Charity Concert, in support of the Máltai Szimfónia Scholarship Program, with the aim of creating opportunities through the power of MUSIC, offering meaningful AID, and building a hopeful FUTURE for even more talented young people living in difficult circumstances.
The charity concert will take place on Tuesday, September 30, 2025,
at 7:00 PM at MOMkult
(MOM Cultural Center, Budapest, Csörsz Street 18).
This special musical evening will feature performances by:
- Magdi Rúzsa, Prima Primissima and Máté Péter Award-winning singer
- János Balázs, Kossuth and Liszt Ferenc Award-winning pianist, founder of the Cziffra Festival
- The Gypsy JamMal ensemble — composed of our scholarship students — accompanied by the children of the Maltese Symphony Orchestra.
In the spirit of musical diversity, the concert program includes folk songs, Romani songs, poetry set to music, chansons, jazz arrangements, and, of course, classical music adaptations.
The artists will create a uniquely outstanding performance through the shared experience of making music together.
All proceeds from the concert will go toward supporting the Maltese Symphony Scholarship Program.
